Welcome. We're So Glad You're Here.
For over 35 years, Camarillo families, and patients from as far as Santa Barbara and Los Angeles, have trusted us with their smiles and their health. We'd be honored to be your dental home.
A different kind of dental experience.
From the moment you walk in, you'll notice we do things differently. Here's what new patients tell us they appreciate most.
We listen before we recommend.
We take the time to understand your concerns, goals, and dental history before suggesting anything. No pressure, no judgment, ever.
Early mornings, evenings & some Saturdays.
We open as early as 7 am and offer select Saturday appointments so you can get care without rearranging your whole week.
We screen for more than just teeth.
Every visit includes a whole-body health screening, checking for signs of sleep apnea, oral cancer, diabetes markers, cardiovascular risk, and more.
Science-backed, evidence-driven care.
Our team stays at the forefront of dental medicine, from airway science to oral systemic health, because you deserve care based on the best evidence available.
We treat your whole family.
We see patients from age one to 105. One practice, one relationship, for everyone you love.
Here's what to expect when you arrive.
We've designed your first visit to be thorough, unhurried, and pressure-free. Most first appointments take about 90 minutes.

A first visit worth talking about.
New patients tell us the same thing: they felt welcomed, heard, and never rushed from the moment they walked in.
"Warm and welcoming, the staff at Camarillo Smiles made my new patient visit enjoyable, productive and informative. I left with a clear understanding of the next steps in my treatment plan, and I'm looking forward to their care and guidance to bring on the smiles!"
"The whole team at Camarillo Smiles are awesome, very professional and thorough. I felt they were genuinely concerned about not only my dental health but my overall health as well. This was my first visit as I am looking for a new dentist, and I found a good one!"
"I went to Camarillo Smiles for the first time to get a second opinion. The staff were very friendly and professional. Dr. Daniel was AWESOME. He spent a lot of time explaining what needed to be done to replace my crowns. I felt very comfortable deciding to have the work done at this office."
Everything you need to know.

How do I get started as a new patient?
The easiest way is to book online, where you can schedule 24/7 at your convenience. You can also call our office at 805-388-5700 and our team will be happy to help you find an appointment time that works for you.
-
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring your insurance card, a photo ID, and a list of any current medications. If you have recent dental X-rays from a previous dentist, we welcome those too, since it helps us build a complete picture of your history.
-
Do I need to fill out paperwork before I arrive?
We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to complete any remaining intake paperwork. We also have forms available to download and fill out ahead of time. Ask our front desk when you book and we can send them over.
-
How long does a first appointment take?
Most first appointments take about 90 minutes. We do a thorough comprehensive exam, including digital X-rays, periodontal charting, and a whole-body health screening. We never rush a new patient visit.
-
Do you accept my dental insurance?
We work with most major PPO dental plans, including Aetna, Cigna, MetLife, Guardian, United Healthcare, and many more. We'll verify your benefits before your visit so there are no surprises. We do not accept HMO or Denti-Cal plans.
-
What if I don't have insurance?
No problem. Our Camarillo Smiles Membership Club offers two cleanings, two exams, fluoride, and X-rays per year, plus 10% off any additional treatment. No insurance company involved. We also offer financing for larger treatment plans.
-
Is there parking at your office?
Yes. We have a private parking lot right at our office at 92 Palm Drive in Historic Old Town Camarillo. No meters, no walking. Just pull in and come on in.
-
Do you see children?
Absolutely. We welcome patients from age one onward. Our team is experienced with kids: gentle, patient, and genuinely good with little ones. We love helping families build healthy dental habits from the very start.
-
What is a 'whole-health' dental screening?
At every visit, we look beyond your teeth. We screen for signs of sleep apnea, oral cancer, acid reflux, diabetes markers, and cardiovascular risk indicators, because your mouth is a window to your overall health. This is part of our commitment to science-driven, whole-body care.
